Review of information requirements for planning applications – we are currently undertaking a research project assessing the new validation arrangements and how they are being implemented; whether there are areas that need refinement to improve the system and formulating recommendations. This work covers a desktop analysis of all Planning Authorities’ current validation guidance, how the guidance is being implemented, case studies with a range of authorities and discussions with developers to understand their perspective of the new processes.
