David has had a long career in local government, working for several London boroughs before becoming Head of Planning at Greenwich in the years leading up to the Millennium celebrations. He had a key role in several regeneration schemes and managed two SRB programmes in the borough before leaving to become a freelance consultant in 2000. After a spell working as project director for the Local Government Construction Task Force, he worked on a range of projects for London Remade, a leading recycling and environmental organisation before becoming an Associate with Addisons.
David has worked on many projects for Addisons, for clients such as DETR, CLG and PAS as well as individual London boroughs. He has extensive experience working with local authorities as part of the Addisons teams working on development control performance, enforcement policies, travel plans, and Local Development Frameworks. He has worked for PAS at many of its regional improvement workshops, helping to design and run workshops on enforcement, development control and LDFs.
